  1. This directory contains five different version of Doom for the Amiga,
  2. all based on the recently released source code.

  4. Doom game information is contained in "WAD" files, and the CD has a
  5. copy of the standard shareware WAD file in the relevant directories.
  6. There is also a separate WADs directory, containing a large number
  7. of third party WAD files that can only be used with the full version
  8. of Doom.

  10. To use these, you need to buy the PC version of Doom and copy the
  11. doom.wad file from this CD to the same directory as the Doom version
  12. you are using. You are thren able to use all the extra WAD files too.

  14. Some versions of Doom for the Amiga require you to have
  15. ixemul.library and/or rtgmaster.library installed. The relevant
  16. files are included on the CD.
